Gold Mining Project Review 2024 – Western Africa

With gold prices surpassing $2,000/oz since the beginning of 2024 and $1,900 for most of 2023, gold project sponsors have been busy proving up their resources. Indeed, in Q1 2024 alone Costmine Intelligence counts 36 development studies released for properties globally. TSX-V listed companies account for majority of these, and 10 projects are found in Canada. South America, USA, Africa and Australia are the other main jurisdictions that have seen heightened activity. In this release, we map the Western Africa projects with updated technical reports.
